Local Crafts at the Festival
Main Event Craft Exhibitors NEW Section
Artist Joanna McDonough: My inspiration comes from living and working in the beautiful Cairngorm Mountains. I am surrounded by the glories of nature in the birds and animals which visit my home and the Speyside Distillery where I am lucky to be Artist in Residence. I enjoy screen printing and painting in acrylic, capturing animals, especially focussing on their facial expressions and personality.
Woodcraft: Local Carrbridge based craftsman Doug’s work can be viewed at The Snug and at the Festival Main Event. Hand crafted gifts made from whisky barrels.
Caledonian Explorers: hand crafted jewellery made from sea glass and feathers.
Janet Taylor: I come from Nethybridge. I design and make a variety of bags, accessories and gifts using Scottish tweeds and tartans.
